H.E. Çavuşoğlu Hosted The Ambassadors Of Afrıcan Natıons In Ankara On A Workıng Lunch

H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs hosted a working lunch for the Ambassadors of African Group resident in Ankara on 4 November 2014. The Minister, in his speech, gave a brief information about Turkey’s Africa policy and upcoming the 2nd Africa-Turkey Partnership Summit to be held in Malabo on 19-21 November 2014 and the cooperation we are carrying out with African countries at regional and international levels.

The Ambassadors of African Group expressed their delight for the positive effects, the 2nd Turkey-Africa Summit will have upon furthering relations between Turkey and African counties. Ambassadors also stressed that they will also exert effort to further enhance this partnership.

The Ambassadors of African countries expressed their satisfaction with the developing relations between Turkey and Africa, and emphasized that the Partnership Policy with Africa that Turkey has been pursuing resolutely for the last decade is growing stronger day by day and is appreciated by the countries on the continent and being followed with interest by the international community as well.

We are happy with the advancement of our relations with Africa in the political, economic and cultural areas in addition to humanitarian issues. We believe that the Declaration and Implementation Plan, to be signed at the 2nd Africa-Turkey Partnership Summit will determine modalities, ways and projects to further enhance this cooperation.
